BHUBANESWAR: In a Confiscation Case filed by Odisha Vigilance, today, i.e., on 11.02.2025, the learned Authorized Officer, Special Court, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, passed order for confiscating the immovable and movable assets to the tune of Rs.3,10,82,815/- (Rupees Three Crore Ten Lakh Eighty-two Thousand Eight Hundred Fifteen) of Sri Pradeep Kumar Barik, Former-Sub-Collector, Jharsuguda, which includes immovable assets i.e.1 multi storeyed building & 2 numbers of plots at Bhubaneswar, and movable assets (Cash & Gold)*.
Earlier, Sri Pradeep Kumar Barik, Former Sub-Collector, Jharsuguda, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance U/s 13 (2) r/w 13 (1) (e) PC Act. 1988/109 IPC *for possession of above referred assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, was convicted by Spl. Court, Bhubaneswar*. Detailed report follows.
