BHUBANESWAR: Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF – CSR wing of IMFA Group) instituted the annual Shambhavi Puraskar in the year 2014, to recognise emerging social catalysts and thereby inspire more citizens to act as agents of change.
On February 6 , the Jury panel comprising of notable members Dr Gopal Krushna Nayak (IIIT Director) Shantamay Chatterjee (Regional Programme Director – CARE, India) A P Das (GM – NABARD, Odisha) Rajaram Stapathy (Senior Journalist) and Shaifalika Panda (CEO & Trustee of BIPF) unanimously decided Hiradhara Sahoo (Zilla Jungle Manch, Deogarh) as the Shambhavi Puraskar winner for 2020 and Anil Pradhan (Founder of Navomesh Prasar IPFSCR, Cuttack) as Jury Commendation. The recipients will be felicitated on March 12 in an award ceremony to be held at Bhubaneswar.
This is the 7th Edition of “Shambhavi Puraskar”. Its an initiative by BIPF to give due recognition to those who act as the agents of social change and motivate others to follow in their footsteps. The Shambhavi Puraskar carries a citation and cash award of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Two Lakh Fifty Thousand rupees only ).
In addition to the main award, “Shambhavi Jury Commendation Certificate” is given to an individual to recognise his/her wholehearted desire in serving humanity. This carries a citation and cash award of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand rupees only ).
