BHUBANESWAR/KENDRAPARA: The arrest of CFO –Director Manoranjan Sarangi and POA Holder Siba Harichandan of Odisha Infratech Pvt Ltd, a unit of OTV network has not pacify the anger of ruling BJD in Odisha and the regional outfit’s Rajya Sabha MP Dr Amar Patnaik questioned as to how CID-CB of State Police keeping silent on Promoters of the company, happens, to BJP National VP and his model turned entrepreneur wife Jagi Panda.

“In Sarua,of Khurda by using another poor, semi-literate SC as a benamidar conduit. Charge of fraud & manipulation of docs & illegality in terms of payment of lower consideration to farmers than either market or benchmark value makes charges serious for a 5-7yrs possible jail term,” MP Dr Patnaik said in another tweet.
“While one of the Directors has been arrested, why are the promoters at large? Why isn’t EOW arresting them? Why only menials are questioned & not the Don himself? I’d demanded ED investigations into their involvement in the Bahamas expose,” the BJD MP tweeted tagging both ED and IT.
“Is the law of the land so powerless against the rich,wealthy & mighty? Can law enforcement agencies be cowed down before brazen display of wealth & arrogance as Pandas have? How will common man have confidence? I demand arrest of the actual movers and shakers behind this deal,” MP Dr Patnaik said.
Earlier MP Dr Patnaik had threatened to drag ‘Jay’ Panda’s family if justice were not delivered to some 21 SC landowners, who were dispossessed of their land by the OTV subsidiary, Odisha Infratech illegally and fraudulently. Sources said, 5 of the 21 landowners had met MP Dr Patnaik and sought his help. Dr Patnaik assured as SC families to extend all possible support and if required, he would extend all legal support till matter reached to Supreme Court.
His Upper House, Colleagues, Dr Sasmit Patra had drawn attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJD MP Dr Patra argued that BJP National VP Jay Panda, who is also former Kendrapara MP, and his family clearly violated OLR Act , which has provisions that non-Dalits can’t buy Dalit-owned land.
