NUAPADA:Today, a new chapter is going to be added in the political history of Nuapada. The worthy son of a popular public representative not only of Nuapada constituency but also of the entire Nuapada district has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party family to fulfill his father’s unfulfilled dream, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi while attending the Vijay Sankalp meeting held in Nuapada.
Now Nuapada will witness the speed of development of the double engine government. Many party leaders along with thousands of workers from different parties have left their parties and joined BJP, influenced by the ideas and development work of the famous Prime Minister Hon’ble Narendra Modiji. It has never happened before that so many workers left a party and joined BJP. This has impressed me. Your hard work and sacrifice will be a strong step towards building not only BJP but also the nation. While welcoming all the new members, Shri Majhi said that the Nuapada by-election results will go in favor of BJP and there should be no doubt or doubt in anyone’s mind about this.
I have taken the responsibility of the development of Nuapada, I have taken the responsibility of taking this district to the developed and best district category of the state. In this context, during my visit to the district on the 6th, the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs. 1100 crore was laid. Never before has a project worth so much money been done in a district in a single day. This is the commitment of our government and my personal responsibility, said Shri Majhi.
In the past, the then Chief Minister used to declare that the responsibility of development is mine in the by-elections of Balasore, Dhamnagar, Padmapur, Bijepur etc., and in the future, after the by-elections, everyone has forgotten everything and remembered the responsibility. But the mantra of our government is to give words, keep words. How to keep words by giving words, that is what our government has been doing in the state for the last fifteen months and what Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been doing at the center for the last 11 years. Today, when the whole world is going through an economic crisis, India’s economy has become the fourth largest economy in the world, said Shri Majhi.
After the BJP came to power in the state, 800 rupees per quintal of paddy was provided and 50 thousand rupees were provided every five years for Subhadra Yojana, benefiting 20 lakh Annadatas and 1 crore beneficiaries of Subhadra Yojana. Two lakh Chahi and 1 lakh 55 thousand mothers from Nuapada district have benefited from Subhadra Yojana. In the recent past, the Central Government has sanctioned railway projects worth 30 thousand crore rupees for Odisha, in which Nuapada district has been given priority. Bargarh Road – Nuapada railway line, Nuapada – Gunapur – Therubali railway line projects have been taken up, said Shri Majhi.
As a social worker, it was Rajendra Dholakia’s nature to work for his region and its people and stand by them in their joys and sorrows. Today, his worthy nephew Jay Dholakia is following in his father’s footsteps. He has joined the BJP, influenced by Prime Minister Modi’s ideology and development policy. The decision taken by Jay Dholakia, who is well aware of his father’s dreams, hopes and aspirations for the overall development of Nuapada, is going to be a decisive moment for the development of this region, said Shri Majhi.
The personal insults made by the BJD after Jai Dholakia joined the BJP are highly condemnable. But Naveen Patnaik, who is known for his decency, has not condemned such hateful remarks, which is deeply disturbing.
Former State President Shri Basant Panda has a strong organization in the district. The Dholakia family has popularity and their own personal organization. Now this double engine will work shoulder to shoulder at the grassroots level. This election will be one-sided and BJP candidate Shri Jai Dholakia will be elected by securing a huge number of votes. This belief is not only mine, but every BJP worker has it, said Shri Majhi.
Joining the Vijay Sankalp meeting, State President Shri Manmohan Samal said that people have come to take a resolution to defeat BJP candidate Jai Dholakia. We will win by a big and record margin this time by working tirelessly. The development of the state is in the hands of the Chief Minister. We have done what we said. The state is dedicated to farmers and women. The Chief Minister has announced Rs 1110 crore. Which will change the picture of development. The medical college for which you have a demand will also be considered. . The Congress ruled in Odisha for 40 years and at the Center for 56 years and the Biju Janata Dal was also deprived of all facilities even after ruling for a long time. But the Bharatiya Janata Party government under the leadership of Mohan Majhi for 16 months and the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for 12 years has accelerated the development work of India. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has taken the development work of Odisha to the people. Our party has won the trust of the people.
The other name of the Bharatiya Janata Party is development. After the government came to power, the four doors of the Jagannath temple were opened, the treasury of gems was opened. To double the income of farmers, the price of rice per quintal has been increased from 1310 to 2369 rupees. On top of this, after the popular Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi gave an input subsidy of 800 rupees, the support price per quintal of rice has increased to 3100 rupees. Money is being sent directly to the accounts of farmers under the PM Kisan and CM Kisan schemes.
Arrangements have been made to give 50 thousand rupees to mothers and sisters in the state under the Subhadra Yojana. As a result, self-confidence among mothers and sisters has increased. Odisha’s mothers and sisters have now become number 1 in the Lakshpati Didi Yojana. The promise of providing health insurance along with an allowance of 3500 rupees for the elderly and differently-abled above 80 years of age has been fulfilled. The process has started to build paved roads in all villages. Plans have been made to build 75 thousand kilometers of roads. Arrangements have been made to irrigate 15 lakh hectares of land. The education system has been changed drastically by implementing the new education policy.
The BJP has fulfilled the promise it made. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has himself taken the responsibility to make Nuapada the state’s No. 1 district in the coming days. He has announced a project worth Rs 1100 crore. A medical college will be opened in Nuapada after the elections. Starting from education, irrigation and transportation, all problems in Nuapada will be solved and overall development will be achieved.
Industries will be developed so that the people of this place do not have to go to work. Tourism industry and fisheries will be given importance. Now that the BJP government is in power at the Centre and in the state, winning Nuapada will change the fundamental problems of this place. Shri Samal has called on the people of Nuapada to achieve a historic victory in this election. The country, which was once called a poor country, has reached the fourth position in the world after 11 years of continuous hard work by Modi. State President Manmohan Samal said that the BJP government is committed to resolving all the problems that were not resolved during the previous government.
BJP is a party of judgment. It has been 15 months since the Mohan Majhi government was formed. For the first time, a tribal has become the Chief Minister. BJP has given due respect to tribals. The President and a Union Minister from the state are also tribals. Similarly, three tribals are in the state government’s cabinet. Congress is a party that loots land. Congress is a party that kills poor people by giving chicken feed. Congress has ruined Nuapada, said former MP and former state president Basant Panda.
