NUAPADA:In the context of the Nuapada by-election, hundreds of Congress workers led by Lipu Behera left the party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party today at the party office in Tikrapada, Komna block, in the presence of Honorable Minister Shri Gokulanand Malik and Honorable MLA Shri Laxman Bag.
All the leaders of the Panchayat who joined the BJP were welcomed by the Hon’ble Minister Shri Gokulanand Mallick and MLA Shri Laxman Bagh with Uttariya. Among the leaders who joined the party are Prabhulal Shabar, Sanjeev Dalpati, Soumik Dalpati, Ghaziram Shabar, Bhagyavant Bagh, Gourahari Bauk, Rajkishore Shabar, Sudhanshu Shabar, Pappu Behera, Ankush Behera, Gabru Hans and Dhanu Sagaria along with many active workers. Hon’ble Minister Shri Mallick has appealed to these new members of the party to join the BJP and work for the victory of the party candidate Jai Dholakia with a huge number of votes.
