BHUBANESWAR:Puri District 28 Zone District Council Member and senior BJD leader of Brahmagiri constituency Shri Kailash Chandra Parida joined BJP in the presence of hundreds of his supporters at the merger function held at the State Office today. Similarly, Nuapada Sarpanch Smt. Kavita Jena under Krishnaprasad Block, Teetip Gram Panchayat Samiti Member Smt. Shamyukta Sethi, Gumundia Sarpanch Smt. Sumitra Puhan, former Panchayat Samiti Member Krishnachandra Jena, Duryodhan Kandi, former Sarpanch Satyanarayana Maharana, youth leaders Basant Nayak, Jitendra Behera, Basant Parida, Debashish Palei, Sanjay Pradhan, Pradeep Kumar Palei, Ranjan Barik joined BJP in the presence of their supporters.
BJP is the largest political party in the world and another name of BJP is Vikas. The faith and trust of the people of the state is increasing day by day under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
Inspired by the ideology of BJP and expressing faith in the developmental work of the double-engine government in the state, hundreds of BJD workers from Brahmagiri constituency of Puri district have joined BJP today. Today, due to this merger, the party organization has increased in Brahmagiri constituency as well as Puri district. We will resolve to solve the basic problems of the people together and move towards developing the state and the country, said State President Shri Samal.
State President Shri Manmohan Samal welcomed all the new members by giving them a turban and donning the party cap. On this occasion, State Vice President Dr. Yatin Mohanty, MLA Smt. Upasana Mohapatra, MLA Shri Saroj Padhi, State Secretary Shri Saroj Kar, Women Morcha State President Dr. Aishwarya Biswal were prominently present.
