BHUBANESWAR: Ending all speculations, police on Friday arrested Honeytrap Blackmailer, Archana Nag Chand’s Fugitive Husband Jagbandhu Chand hours before his lawyers filed anticipatory bail plea in Odisha HC.
A police team picked up Jagabandhu from his residence at Satya Vihar here,and took him to an undisclosed location. He was reportedly questioned by some senior police officials and later arrested.
Jaganadhu has been arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged at Khandagiri police station by a female victim on October 2. She mentioned in her complaint that it was Jagabandhu and his aide Khageswar Patra who trapped her. She also mentioned it that Archana, Jagabandhu and Khageswar earned crores of rupees by using her.
Jagabandhu had alleged involvement in the offence done by his wife Archana. Archana is currently lodged in Jharpada Special Jail here. She was arrested on October 7. Archana and her husband Jagabandhu Chand amassed assets worth around Rs 50.
