BHUBANESWAR: With Twin City Commissionerate Police has obtained more information on Archana Nag Chand’s alleged honeytrap racket from Khandagiri police where a complaint was filed accusing her of recording nude videos of a victim, the Bhubaneswar SDJM court on Tuesday deferred the bail plea hearing of the key accused, who was arrested on charges of shooting obscene videos of bigwigs and blackmailing them.
Bhubaneswar SDJM court will hear the bail petition case tomorrow on Wednesday. The advocate Debashish Mohapatra led team pleaded in favour of granting bail to Archana, however, the court rescheduled the hearing for Wednesday. However, the court rejected Archana’s bail and ordered her to remain in judicial custody for the next 14 days. The court ordered the lawyers to submit details.
Archana appeared in the court from the Jharpada jail virtually. The Commissionerate police is expected to take Archana on remand for further investigation on the alleged honey trap and blackmail cases.
