BHUBANESWAR: His health condition is stated to be stable now, sources said on Thursday. Sources said, a photo journalist, who has come from South Korea to cover the World Cup, fell into an open drain on Wednesday night at around 8 pm while having a cup of tea at a roadside stall in Dumduma locality of Odisha Capital City, one of the venues for Matches.
An eyewitness claimed that the journo has sustained grievous injuries including a fracture in his right leg in the incident. The injured tourist was rescued by some local residents and auto rickshaw drivers and rushed to a nearby health facility for treatment.
Meanwhile, as many as 80 platoons of police force and at least 400 police officers will be deployed in the capital city here for the smooth organisation of FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup-2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela.
