BHUBANESWAR: On Monday morning, on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Sri Ramesh Chandra Sahu,Principal, Hira Nila College, Biswanathpur, Kalahandi, searches by Odisha Vigilance are on at 5 places including his residences & 2 Crusher units in Khorda and Kalahandi district, the Director of Vigilance said in a statement.
Recently, Shri Sahu was booked in 4 cases of Kalahandi for cheating by taking money from locals promising jobs in the college. An administrative enquiry had also found financial irregularities commited by Shri Sahu, it added.
