BHUBANESWAR: On Wednesday, Himansu Behera, Former I/c Headmaster, Krupasindhu High School, Gopinathpur in Cuttack (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d)/7 PC Act, 1988 for demanding and taking bribe from a complainant for allowing to sign in attendance register and further to send his salary bill to the treasury for drawl, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 4 years and fine.
Further, the convict Sri Himansu Behera, Former I/c Headmaster, Krupasindhu High School, Gopinathpur, Dist-Cuttack was sent to jail custody to serve his sentence.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Sri Himansu Behera, Former I/c Headmaster, Krupasindhu High School, Gopinathpur, Dist-Cuttack (Retired) following his conviction.
