BHUBANESWAR:Hectic Preparations are underway to host Third Bilasuni Mahotsava – 2026 at village Bilasuni in Block Niali of District Cuttack. The three days long Mega Sports cum Cultural Fiesta is being organised by Gopabandhu Evergreen Anchalika Yuba Parishad (GEAYP) in association with Voluntary Empowerment Development and Action (VEDA) on 30th, 31st January and 1st February 2026 at the play ground of Bilasuni High School. The Festival will witness supersonic Sportive actions by several local, State and National level iconic Football Teams as well as showcase scintillating soul soothing melody cum hilarious heart wrenching comedy by renowned artistes.
The major attractions of the third Bilasuni Mahotsava would be one day long Shree Gopaljiew local village level Football Tournament on 30th January and Two days long Mahadev Mahapatra Memorial Inter Districts and Inter States Football Tournament on 31st January and 1st February 2026. Around eight superbly talented State as well as National level teams would be fighting out for winning Mahadev Mahapatra Trophy. Noted singer Ira Mohanty and renowned comedians Pragnya-Sankar duo will enthral the audiences with their creative genius during the Festival.
Gopabandhu Evergreen Anchalika Yuba Parishad has been rendering remarkable services in promoting Sports among rural youths under the able stewardships of its Chairman Chakradhar Raj, President Bishnu Charan Dalua and Secretary Lalatendu Sahoo. Voluntary Empowerment Development and Action has been actively engaged in the economic upliftment of suffering humanities and advancement of social welfare, quality education, healthcare, culture, Sports and religious activities in the rural areas of Odisha under the guidance of its dynamic President Badri Narayan Mahapatra.
