BHUBANESWAR: IMD-Bhubaneswar on Thursday said, under influence of gradual strengthening of monsoon flow & anticipated low pressure, Rainfall activity very likely to increase gradually from 5th Aug & widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy likely to occur during 6th to 10th August, over the districts of Odisha.
Seasonal cumulative rainfall realized between 1st June to 04th August 2022 is 527.0mm against its normal value of 600.7mm. During the period 2 districts received excess rainfall, 7 districts in deficient & rest 21 in normal category.
