CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR:   Heavy downpour since late night till Tuesday morning, has badly hit Durga Puja fever in Odisha Capital City of Bhubaneswar and well as Cuttack City. Rainfall activity across Odisha is likely to increase due to the low pressure area.

A low pressure area has formed over westcentral Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The sky over Bhubaneswar will remain mostly cloudy till two-three days.

Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Gajapati, and Ganjam.Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Balasore, Bhadrak and Nayagarh.
