NUAPADA:Today is the holy Chhata Puja, a unique tradition of Surya Puja. North Indians all over the world, wherever they are, celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm.
In this spirit, Chhath Puja was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in Nuapada today. Currently, leaders, ministers, and MPs are on vacation for the Nuapada assembly by-election. BJP leaders, ministers, and MPs are also present in Nuapada for the election campaign of BJP candidate Jai Dholakia.
The ‘Chhat Puja’ celebration organized by the Nuapada Public Chhat Puja Committee was attended by the Honorable Minister of Health and Family Welfare of Odisha, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Honorable Bhatli MLA Shri Irashis Acharya, Honorable Member of Parliament Smt. Malvika Devi, and youth leader Shri Abhinandan Panda.
The worship of Surya Narayan was done with great enthusiasm in the presence of the local people and senior members of various socio-cultural institutions.
