BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: With opposition continued, Orissa High Court on Friday rejected a petition filed against restrictions imposed by the State Government on height of Durga idol for Dussehra this year.
The petition was filed by Balu Bazar Puja Committee of Cuttack city seeking increase in height of idol for the auspicious Durga Puja-2021.
With the rejection of the petition, the height of Durga idol will not exceed from 4 feet as per the State Government’s guidelines issued in view of Covid-19 pandemic.
