SAMBALPUR/BHUBANESWAR: Suspension of internet services in Sambalpur town was on Wednesday extended by another 24 hours till 10 AM of Thursday to restraint circulation of provocative messages and averts misapplication of social media.
Meanwhile, the local administration has decided to resume internet services in some areas of the district. The services will be resumed in, Naktideul, Jujumara, Bamra ,Jamankira Kuchinda and Rairakhol areas.
It may be noted here that Whatsapp, Facebook,Twitter, Instagram and other social media services of all mobile service provider had been shut down since April 13.
Mobile internet data services of all mobile service providers, internet data services of all internet service providers , Broadband dial up system and any other such means or mode of transmission also had been shut down.
