BERHAMPUR:Haldiapadar Accident – Driver arrested , Investigation going on to identify the role of the vehicle owner.

      Gosaninuagaon PS case no 45 dated 01.02.2026 U/S 105 BNS
_*Complainant*_:
     Sisir Nahak (Age-38) S/O Chaita Nahak of village Fulta, Dhia sahi, PS Nimakhandi.
_*Accused details*_:
       Pradip @ Pradeep Jani (Age-38) s/o – Trinatha Jani of Vill- Gudiapalli, Jani Sahi PS- Kabisurya Nagar , Ganjam
_*Seizure*_:
1. 3 Motorcycles of victim in broken  condition.
2. Involved Truck having registration number OD 07 Z 7259
3. Driving license of accused Pradeep @ Pradeep Jani
_*Brief facts of the case*_:
      Sri Sisir Nahak (38) S/O Chaita Nahak of village Fulta, reported that while his nephew namely Jagan Nahak (20) s/o Krushna Nahak along with Rakesh Nahak (22) s/o Chandru Nahak were returning to his village by a Hero Glamour motor cycle bearing regd No. OD 07 R 6477 at Haladiapadar over bridge one Truck bearing regd No. OD 07 Z 7259 coming at high speed dashed his nephew vehicle
as a result both Jagan Nahak and Rakesh Nahak died on the spot. During investigation, He has previously caused a fatal accident which caused death of two persons in Digapahandi area and in this connection Digapahandi PS Case No 102. Dt 05.07.2017, U/s- 279/304-A IPC has been registered.
The owner of the vehicle is detained and being questioned for his role in employing a driver with criminal past.
 On 31.01.2026 he was driving the truck from Haridakhandi chaka and was going to Haladiapadar Auto nagar via Andhapasara. On the way he rammed the truck on the three motorcycles and his action caused the death of 5 persons. Accused Pradeep @ Pradeep Jani was arrested today i.e on 01.02.2026 at 11.30 AM and forwarded to the court.
