Governor attended the closing ceremony of the 36th Konark Festival and 15th International Sand Art Festival

The Hon'ble Governor of Odisha, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, has joined the closing ceremony of the 36th Konark Festival 2025 organized at Konark in collaboration with the State Tourism Department and a joint initiative of Sangeet Natak Academy and Odisha Tourism Development Corporation as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, Hon'ble First Lady of the State, Smt. Jayashree Kambhampati, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, Smt. Parvathi Parida and Hon'ble Power Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Hiralal Nagar were also present.

BHUBANESWAR/KONARK:The Governor of Odisha, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, has joined the closing ceremony of the 36th Konark Festival 2025 organized at Konark in collaboration with the State Tourism Department and a joint initiative of Sangeet Natak Academy and Odisha Tourism Development Corporation as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, Hon’ble First Lady of the State, Smt. Jayashree Kambhampati, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Smt. Parvathi Parida and Hon’ble Power Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Hiralal Nagar were also present.

The first part of the final evening saw the performance of Odissi dance by renowned Odissi dancer Mrs. Aarti Kar and her team of artists from Utkal Dance and Research Academy. The second part saw the performance of Kathak dance by Sanjukta Sinha and her dance group. Finally, all the artists and artists/sand sculptors were felicitated by the Governor.
Earlier, the Governor also visited the 15th International Sand Art Festival 2025 and interacted with the participants from all over the country and appreciated their artistic skills. Renowned sand artist Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik was also present on the occasion.
