BHUBANESWAR: Gopal Pradhan, Senior Revenue Assitant Baripada Municipality, Mayurbhanj has been nabbed by Odisha Vigilance while taking bribe Rs.10,000/- from a Complaint for processing his application for allotting the 2 existing shops in his father’s name in Mun. Mkt, to him, due to demise of father.
The complaint had submitted an application in Jan 2025, with supporting docs, for name transfer. However, Sri Pradhan demanded Rs. 10,000/- to process the file. In this connection, Balasore Vigilance PS Case No 5/2025, under 7PC (Amd) Act, 2018, has been regd. Investigation in progress.
