BHUBANESWAR: Ahead of ensuing General Election-2024, another coordination meeting of the State Enforcement Committee was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mr. Pradeep Kumar Jena. The meeting was reviewed in the presence of members of the Enforcement Committee in charge of various inspections and raids.
The members of the state-level committee discussed that the upcoming general elections should be held with peace and order, strict adherence to the electoral code of conduct. Chief Secretary Mr. Jena emphasized on the checks and vigils under various systems to take strict action against violators of the law.
Additional Chief Secretary Home Department, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Department, Additional Chief Secretary Public Administration and Public Grievances Department, Chief Secretary Unemployment Department, Chief Secretary Commerce and Transport Department, GST Commissioner, State Director General of Police, among others, were present in the meeting. Commissioner of Transport Department, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief of Forest Force, Odisha were present.
