BHUBANESWAR: As many as 649 persons so far till Monday evening have been recovered out of Odisha’s taotal COVID-19 positive cases of 1438 while 7 have been died.
On Monday afternoon, as many as 99 patients tested negative for the virus and recovered, official sources said. Out of the 99 persons, 34 are from Balasore, 15 from Ganjam, 13 each from Jajpur and Kendrapara, 10 from Puri, 9 from Bhadrak, 3 from Nayagarh, and one each from Sundargarh and Deogarh, sources added.
Of the 1438, Ganjam topped the list with 353 cases including 248 cured and 102 active and 3 dead while Jajpur with 240 including 103 cured, 137 active and Balasore with 133 including 91 cured, 42 active while Khorda with 82 including 51 cured, 28 active and 3 dead while 1 dead reported from Cuttack.
