BERHAMPUR/BHUBANESWAR: A proud moment for Odisha Police . Gangapur Police Station of Ganjam district has been selected by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) as 2nd best Police Station in the country for 2021.
On Friday, IIC, Gangapur PS received the award from Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Lucknow.
With only 2% pending cases, the Gangapur PS achieved remarkable success in Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), plan scheme under National e-Governance Plan of Centre, cases on gambling, arms, excise and others. After being selected for award earlier in month, Dash expressed his happiness over the selection and credited the success of the police station to DGP, Southern Range DIG and Ganjam SP.
