BHUBANESWAR:Badagada P.S. Case No. 165, Dt. 12.03.2026, U/S 126(2)/115(2)/118(2)/109(1)/3(5) BNS r/w 25 Arms Act, now turned to U/S 126(2)/115(2)/118(2)/109(1)/249(b)/ 61(2)/3(5) BNS r/w 25(1)(a) Arms Act. Near Gautam Nagar, Falikia Basti area under Badagada PS, Bhubaneswar UPD.

- K. Papama (40), W/o K. Appaya, At-Falikia Basti, Ashok Nagar, PS-Capital, Bhubaneswar,
- One juvenile (CCL) (apprehended).
On 12.03.2026, the above case was registered and an investigation was initiated based on the written report of the complainant Shankar Pani .
It is worth noting that on 12.03.2026 at 2.30 pm, when the ailing Shankar Pani was going to meet his daughter , Kashi , Linga , Varun Rao , Kumar Swami , K Laila Prasad , K Appa Rao , K Sainath and other accomplices of Falikiya Basti near Gautam Nagar attacked Shankar Pani with the intention of killing him due to previous enmity . Seeing this, when the people present there went to save Shankar Pani, the Assamese also attacked them and fled from there.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused had committed the gang attack with force and criminal intimidation, citing previous enmity. Based on credible information, the accused were arrested on 16.03.2026 and a minor ( CCL ) was brought to the police station for questioning.
As the crime against the accused has been clarified, they have been produced in court today as per the law. Further investigation into the case is currently underway while efforts are on to arrest other Ferra’s accomplices involved in the crime.
