BHUBANESWAR: Former Minister Sanjeev Sahu, who had recently resigned from the BJD, joined the BJP at its State office here in the presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Pradhan said Sahu’s joining the BJP would further strengthen the saffron party in the State, particularly ahead of the panchayat elections.
Sahu, who was inducted in the BJP along with his supporters from the Athmallik and Birmaharajpur Assembly constituencies, said how he was neglected in the BJD and joined the BJP being attracted by the strong leaderships of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the national level and Dharmendra Pradhan in the State.
