NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: 7928.62 HA Forest Land diverted due to mining activities in last 5 Years in Odisha, Union Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Pralhad Joshi in a written reply in Rajya Sabha on Monday.
Of the total 19267.47 HA Forest Land diverted due to mining activities in last 5 Years across the Country, Odisha ‘s figured touched at an all-time high of 7928.62 HA Forest Land during this period and topped the list of mineral rich States.
