PURI/BHUBANESWAR: For the smooth conduct of the “Shri Ram Leela” Sahi Yatra starting from Friday, 27.3.2026, a meeting was held today, 19.3.2026, at 5.00 pm at the Shrimandir’s head office, under the chairmanship of the Policy Administrator, in the meeting room. 7 editors of Sahi attended this meeting and took part in the discussion.
The editors opined that ‘Sahiyatra’ is a unique tradition of the temple and is associated with the principles of Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu. Efforts should be made at all levels to maintain this ancient tradition.
Therefore, the editors of the Sahi Sampadap stressed the need to sanction more financial assistance for the yatra. The administrative policy of the Sahi Parikrama advised the Sahi to maintain good hygiene and reach Singh Dwar on time. The Puri Municipality has taken appropriate measures to keep the Parikrama route of the Sahi Yatra clean. The officials of the administration of the temple were present in the meeting.
