BHUBANESWAR:On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Doordarshan News Department has prepared a special documentary film ”Odisha Saha Ardha Shatabdi ra Sampark”.
This film showcases the unique and long-standing relationship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the people of Odisha in an innovative manner. Shri Modi visited Odisha on his first visit in the 70s. It shows how deep spiritual connection he had with Lord Jagannath. The film attractively narrates how Shri Modi’s early experience with Odisha led to a lifelong bond.
The film, in particular, reflects the Prime Minister’s deep respect for the cultural heritage of Odisha. The film vividly portrays themes such as recognizing the legacy of the Paik Uprising, honouring eminent personalities, and showcasing the rich art and symbols of Odisha on the global stage.

The film, ”Odisha’s Half-century Relationship”, which has been released on YouTube, is being watched and shared by thousands of viewers. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and many other prominent figures have also praised the film and shared it on social media.
