BHUBANESWAR: The BJD Lok Sabha MP from Kendrapara , Anubhav Mohanty, seems not missing a single stone unturned to heave his praise on lady Journalist, Jagrati Shukla. The BJD Lok Sabha MP, not only shared a photo of him with the women journalist in his Instagram profile but also put the same in his Facebook page as cover photo. MP Mohanty has been fighting a legal battle with his estranged actress wife Varsha Priyadarshini over a divorce petition since past years.
Few months back, the star couple had appeared before the court as per the direction of the court during which a hearing on the plea filed by MP Mohanty seeking ex parte decree on his divorce petition for dissolution of his marriage with Varsha was conducted. However, the plea was rejected by the Court.
“It’s always lovely meeting self-made, empowered lady like you my dearest friend@jagratishukla29,” the MP Mohanty wrote in his Instagm page –anubhavmohantyofficial. In the photo, the two can been seen relishing food while having a good time. The continuous praise of MP Mohanty on Shukla seems drawing huge criticism.
It may be noted here that earlier Shukla had broke her silence and posed herself as a good friend of MP Mohanty. Jagrati had in December last year accepted that she shares a cordial professional relationship with the Parliamentarian. In a Facebook post, Jagrati had also alleged that she was being trolled on social media with abusive comments by fans of actress and wife of the Kendrapara MP, Varsha Priyadarshini.
“I request hon’ble union minister Prakash Javadekar ji, CMO Odisha , PIB Fact Check , National Commission for Women and all responsible authorities kindly look into this very sensitive matter and help me and my family in leading a peaceful and dignified life.I also request to take an exemplary step and let everyone know that all are equal in the eyes of law and order whether someone a celebrity like Varsha Priyadarshini or a common citizen of India like me or anyone else,” Shukla had said in her Facebook post last year.
“I am a self made woman and have struggled very hard to create a name for myself in the society. I would not allow anyone to sully my reputation and defame me like this.Whether it’s any individual or media organization or paid harassers of someone, I will now take necessary legal actions as per law on all such forces who think they can get away.I have been forced to speak and I shall not remain silent when it comes to protecting my & my family’s dignity,” she had said earlier.
