BHUBANESWAR: Odisha will see simultaneous voting for Lok Sabha and Assembly polls from May 13 as the first phase of polling will begin in the State. The next 3 phases polling slated for May 20, May 25, June 1 and Counting will be on June 1.
Odisha CEO on Sunday informed that Nominations of 38 candidates remained valid after scrutiny for 4 Lok Sabha segments including Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur and Koraput.
As many as 11 candidates are in fray for Kalahandi Lok Sabha seat followed by 4 in Nabarangpur (SC) Parliamentary seat while 11 in Berhampur Lok Sabha seat and 12 in Koraput(ST) Lok Sabha seat are in fray.
The CEO office sources said, Nominations of 256 candidates under 28 assembly seats remained valid, after verification while 10 nominations rejected after the completion of the scrutiny process.
