BHUBANESWAR: The Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led BJP Government in Odisha on Wednesday shown doors to several IAS officers , who were close to BJD leader VK Pandian.
The General Administration & Public Grievances department notification said, Additional Chief Secretary to CM, Nikunja Bihari Dhal of 1993 batch IAS , is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, IDCO, Bhubaneswar.
1993 batch IAS officer Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Surendra Kumar has been given additional charge of Parliamentary Affairs Department. Kumar continue to serve in his current position as ACS to the GA & PG Department and Tourism Department.
VK Pandian’s man Friday G Mathivathanan, Additional Chief Secretary, Housing and Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Department, has been transferred as Director General, Training Coordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar.
The additional appointment of IAS officer Anu Garg as Director General, Training Coordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration shall stand terminated from the date Shri Mathivathanan takes over, the order said.
Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary to Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Housing & Urban Development Department,” it said.
Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries Department with additional charge of Chairman, IPICOL is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary, MS & ME Department.
1996 batch IAS, Saswat Mishra, Principal Secretary to Governor with additional charge of Chairman, OSSSC is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary, Finance and Energy Departments.
A 1996 batch IAS Officer Vishal Kumar Dev, who is now serving as Principal Secretary, Finance with additional charge of Chairman, GRIDCO and Principal Secretary, E & IT Department is appointed as Principal Secretary, E & IT Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, OFDC.
1999 batch IAS Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement is appointed as Commissioner-cim-Secretary, Sports & Youth Services Department.
2005 batch IAS R. Vineel Krishna, Sports Secretary and Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been posted as Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement.
