BHUBANESWAR: With Chief Mnister Naveen Patnaik missing no stone unturned to fight the dangerous of Coronavirus, Senior BJD leader and Ruling Party’s Bhubaneswar Central Assembly segment President Rabi Chottray flanked by party workers held a massive awareness drive in various Words under the Constituency, which is being represented by Anata Narayan Jena aka Bunu.
Chottray along with party workers visited door to door and held public meetings and requested general public to follow the guidelines of State Health and Family Welfare Department and respond to the appeal of Chief Minister Patnaik.
“As the entire State Government has been in put in action, we are holding awareness rallies and meetings under Bhubanswar Central,” said Chottray. Chottray was in second week of February this year had been chosen as the President of Party’s Bhubaneswar Central Assembly segment and has been active since he took the charge months back.
Chottray , a close associate of late Biju Patnaik, has been active in non-Congress politics since past 4 decades and held various Party positions earlier. He worked in various districts like Khurda, Bhubaneswar, Keonjhar and several other areas for the Party, the erstwhile Janata Dal and now Biju Janata Dal.
Chottaray shared good terms with two young faces of BJD under Bhubaneswar Central including sitting MLA Bunu and Former Corporator Amaresh Jena aka Baina.
