FICCI’s National Executive Committee held in Ahmedabad

BHUBANESWAR:   FICCI, the country’s apex business chamber, held its National Executive Committee meeting in Ahmedabad which was addressed by Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Addressing the gathering, he appreciated FICCI’s long association with the State and its contribution to sectoral policy formulation which has helped attract significant investment.

Mr Subhrakant Panda, President of FICCI and Managing Director, IMFA said: “Gujarat has made notable progress in the last two decades by growing at a compounded rate of 15% per annum. It is home to more than a hundred leading international companies and 13 lakh MSMEs, and accounts for one-third of India’s exports. India’s progress to becoming the world’s third-largest economy in the world will hinge on the State’s continued contribution.”

FICCI’s Vice President Harsha Vardhan Agarwal and Past Presidents Pankaj Patel and Rashesh Shah were present on the occasion; and Sumita Dawra, Special Secretary, DPIIT spoke at a Knowledge Session on PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
