BHUBANESWAR: Extremely Heavy Rainfall warning for south Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on 09.09.2024.
The deep depression currently lies over northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal about 70 km southeast of the coast of Puri(Odisha). It is very likely to move nearly northwestwards and cross Odisha coast near Puri by noon of 9th September.
Earlier, the deep depression overnorthwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal moved slowly north-northwestwardswith a speed of 8 kmph during past 6 hours and lay centered at 0530 hours ISTof today, the 9th September, 2024 over the same region near latitude 19.3°N andlongitude 86.2°E,
