‘The State CID-CB (Crime Branch) is seeking the help of the FBI of the USA, as they have the best expertise in behavioural analysis in such cases. We have requested the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to facilitate an evaluation of behaviour of the accused by behavioural support unit of FBI  of the USA,’ he said.

The Chief Minister Patnaik made the statement following demands from Opposition BJP and Congress ,  and said, FBI is expert in behavioral analysis in such cases, the State Government has requested Ministry of Home Affairs to facilitate an evaluation by FBI.

The Chief Minister Patnaik while taking on BJP and Congress said the manner in which this very sensitive case is being politicized has shocked him as well as the people of Odisha. ‘It is disturbing to see the baseless and malicious allegations that are being made, a seemingly upset CM Patnaik said in his statement.

Unfortunately the state BJP has tried to defame the entire police force of Odisha. The state BJP has insulted the youth of Odisha & people will not forgive them for this. The entire police force has been unreasonably termed as criminals based on the act of a single policeman,’ he added.
