BHUBANESWAR: With Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik making statement over the murder of ex Minister Naba Das, CID-CB (Crime Branch) ADGP Arun Bothra met DGP Sunil Bansal in presence of Director (intelligence) Sanjeeb Panda .
Sources said, Bothra, might have briefed DGP regarding the investigation status into the murder case. CM Patnaik said, CID-CB has sought help of FBI through Ministry of Home Affairs to find out the motive behind the murder case.
A local Court in Jharsuguda has already rejected the prayer for further mental health examination of the former Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of police- Gopal Krishna Das, who had gunned down former Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das in Brajarajnagar of Jharsuguda district on 29 January.
