BHUBANESWAR: Former IAS officer Vinod Kumar convicted by the special Vigilance court in connection with a corruption case in Odisha Rural Housing Development Corporation, on Thursday granted bail by Orissa High Court.
The court accepted the petition challenging the verdict of the special Vigilance court and directed the lower court to fix the bail conditions.
The High Court also stayed the vigilance court’s order imposing penalty on Vinod Kumar in the ORHDC case. Odisha Government had earlier dismisses tainted IAS officer Vinod Kumar for corruption
