ROURKELA/BHUBANESWAR: ବାର ଆସୋସିଏସନର ପୂର୍ବତନ ସଭାପତି ତଥା ରାଉରକେଲା ପୌରପାଳିକାର ପୂର୍ବତନ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ରମେଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ବଳଙ୍କ ବାସଭବନରୁ ଝୁଲନ୍ତା ଅବସ୍ତାରେ ମୃତଦେହ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । ଏହା ହତ୍ୟା ନା ଆତ୍ମହତ୍ୟା ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇନାହିଁ । ବହୁବାର ବାର ଆସୋସିଏସନର ପୂର୍ବତନ ସଭାପତି ରୂପେ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ରାଜନୀତିରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଥିଲେ ରମେଶ । ରାଜନୀତିକ ଆକ୍ରଶ ତଥା କୌଣସି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଶତ୍ରୁତା କିମ୍ବା ଏହା ଷଡଯନ୍ତ୍ର କରି ହତ୍ୟା ହୋଇଥାଇପାରେ ବୋଲି ସାଧାରଣରେ ଆଲୋଚନା ହେଉଅଛି ।
Former Union Minister Dilip Ray has condoled the death and shared an emotional facebook post.‘I am devastated to hear about the demise of Ramesh Chandra Bal, Former President of the Rourkela Bar Association, Ex-Chairman Rourkela Municipality and a prominent social activist. A happy-go-lucky person who always carried a smile on his face, that such a thing would happen to him is very difficult to believe. The longest serving President of Rourkela Bar Association, Ramesh has been a very close associate who has always stood for me through thick and thin, in fact for anyone who needed him because he was that kind of a person i.e. always ready to help. Having associated with him for so long, I am yet to come across anyone who had any animosity towards him, even his political and ideological opponents would be full of praises for him on the way he conducted himself, Ray said.
‘A day before yesterday only, I had talked with him where he said that he wanted to meet me and I had even asked him to come to Bhubaneswar but the almighty perhaps had some different plans. His passing away today is a huge loss to Rourkela, especially the legal fraternity and personally I have lost a younger brother, the pain of which I find difficult to express in words.Rest in Peace Ramesh!!!You will be missed a lot, Ray added.
