CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: On Thursday, in T.R case No.15/2012 arising out of Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No. 69/95, the accused namely, Dr. Surendranath Pati, Ex-Asst. Director, ICDS, Women & Child Development Department, Bhubaneswar has been convicted for DA of Rs.9,28,500/-(60.52%) u/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) of P.C. Act,1988 by the Special Court, Bhubaneswar and the convict has been sentenced to undergo R.I for 2 years and to pay fine of Rs.20,000/- in default to undergo further R.I for 3 months. Ajit Kumar Pattnaik, Public Prosecutor, Spl. Court, Bhubaneswar informed this.
