BHUBANESWAR: On the basis of reliable information, a team of STF with the help of Boudh Forest Range Officials under Boudh Forest Division conducted raid on the side of Boudh-Sonepur road (NH-57) near Telibandha Chhak under Boudh Police Station jurisdiction on
01.06.2025 evening, as a result of which one wildlife criminal namely Pramod Parida, 45 years S/o. Bhaskar Parida of village two numbers Elephant Tusk Jarda PS. Boudh Dist. Boudh was apprehended.
During search with other incriminating articles were recovered from his possession. He could not produce any authority in support of possession of Elephant Tusk, for which he has been detained and handed over to Boudh Forest Officials along with seized items for
necessary legal action at their end. Investigation is on.
