BHUBANESWAR: 2003 batch IPS Officer Sanjay Kumar Kaushal, who is present, IGP Vigilance, has been posted as IGP Central in place of Ashish Singh, who was shifted to State Police headquarters’ on direction of Election Commission of India.
Kaushal has been asked by the ECI to join the duty immediately.
4 IPS officers who were shifted to Police headquarters’ included Ashish Singh(IGP Central), Dr K Vishal Singh( Cuttack DCP), Mitrabhanu Mohapatra(SP Rourkela) and Sudhanshu Sekhar Mishra (SP Angul).
