NUAPADA:Odisha Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahalinga campaigned for the Nuapada Assembly by-election today in Komna Block. First, he campaigned for the election from house to house in Ward No.-8 Salvetha area of Nuapada Notified Council area. He appealed to the voters to vote for BJP candidate Jai Dholakia to strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi Ji and Mohan Majhi.
Later, he attended the Odia Sammelan program organized at Amodhi in Nuapada. In his speech, Minister Dr. Mahaling discussed in detail about many welfare schemes such as increase in minimum support price of paddy to empower and enrich the farmer brothers and sisters in the state, Subhadra Yojana to make mothers self-reliant, Ayushman and Vyobandana Yojana for better and free medical services, Antyoday Griha Yojana for the destitute, etc. He also expressed his support for BJP candidate Shri Jai Dholakia and called on Nuapada to join the double-speed development concept of the double engine government.
Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar, Chhattisgarh Mahasamund parliamentary constituency MP Smt. Roopkumari Chaudhary, MLA Shri Dushmant Kumar Swain, former MLA Kusum Tete and youth leader Abhinandan Panda were present along with other party leaders.
