BHUBANESWAR:Like last year, this year’s Ekamra Baliyatra festival will be held from November 5 to 12. A preparatory meeting was held at the local circuit house under the chairmanship of Bhubaneswar Additional District Magistrate Shri Rudranarayan Mohanty. Various aspects of this festival, which will be held on the banks of the Daya River near Bankual in collaboration with the Ekamra Baliyatra Committee and the district administration, were discussed.
In this meeting, the issues related to repair of connecting roads, lighting, parking, toilets, food quality inspection, emergency medical system, security, traffic, CCTV installation etc. were discussed and the Additional District Magistrate directed the concerned departments to take necessary steps in this direction. It was also decided in the meeting to organize an interesting cultural program every evening. The Additional District Magistrate advised the officers to work with emphasis on making this year’s Ekamra Bali Yatra a success.
Among others, Bhubaneswar ACP Mr. Kamal Lochan Bhuyan, Bhubaneswar Block Chairperson Mrs. Nirupama Sahu, Director Mr. Devi Prasad Mohanty, Committee Secretary Mr. Kaviraj Swain, Organizer Mr. Manoj Pashimakbat and senior officers were present in the meeting.
