Downpour during Return Journey of Lord Jagannatha a Good Insignia, says SJTA Chief Dr Krishan Kumar

PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration, Chief Administrator, Dr Krishan Kumar on Tuesday termed the heavy rain during Return Journey of Lord Jagannatha , a good sign and hoped, same coordination and support between Sevayats, SJTA and Puri District Administration will remain intact in all future festivals of Shree Mandir.

While thanking Sevayats for their full and complete support and coordination in this week-long festival, Dr Kumar also informed that three Chariots reached Grand Road without any type of untoward incident.

Dr Kumar who was present when heavy downpour occurred in midway , said “In fact we were expecting more temperature with humidity throughout the day but heavy rain given a great a solace and it’s a good sign,”.

Dr Kumar also said each and every rituals completed before stipulated time due to a proper coordination between all stakeholders.

Later Dr Kumar tweeted about “Lakshmi Narayana Bheta.“On the way back to ShreeMandira during #BahudaJatra21 , ritual of “Lakshmi Narayana Bheta” takes place on Bada Danda in front of Shri Nahara- Palace of Gajapati Maharaja. As Nandighosha approaches Shri Nahara, Maa Mahalakshmi in a ritual procession reaches Shri Nahara in a Palaki,” SJTA Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar tweeted @Krishan_Kumar09.

“After ‘Dahipati Manohi’ Niti, Maa Mahalakshmi meets Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannatha and does one round Parikrama of Nandighosha Ratha. Thereafter, getting Agyanmala (Consent Garland) of Mahaprabhu, Maa Mahalakshmi returns to ShreeMandira,” Krishan Kumar tweeted @Krishan_Kumar09.
