BHUBANESWAR: In bid to defend the BJP’s Double Engine Government model, BJD on Monday released a video clip of Party Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, in which, the later was seen appealing for Double Conch in ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha.
“This time double Conch, one for MLA , one for MP. You are requested to bless us,” Patnaik said. Patnaik’s new video seems targeted to defend BJP’s double engine Government theory.
Meanwhile, Patnaik is all set to hit the campaign trail for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha on April 24.
Patnaik will begin his campaign for the twin polls from Hinjili Assembly constituency in Ganjam district on April 24.Patnaik is fighting the Assembly polls from Hinjili seat for the sixth time in a row.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to campaign for BJD in Rayagada district on April 25. Four Lok Sabha seats in Odisha—Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur and Koraput—and the Assembly segments under their jurisdictions will go for polls in the on May 13.
