NEW DELHI: BJP National Vice-President and Spokesperson Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda has came down heavily on those who were viewing all is not well in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 from the Indian Constitution. “Don’t say Militant, say Terrorists”, Jay Panda said. The senior BJP leader was speaking at a Lit Fest hosted by the Time of India Group in New Delhi.

“Inaugurated the Times of India Lit fest yesterday in Delhi, & spoke at the inaugural session on #Kashmir .Here’s my response to a question about shopkeepers being threatened by terrorists & “what next in Jammu & Kashmir?” Please do watch, Panda twitted with a video clip.

“And a little earlier I had pointed out that “Since Aug 5th, not a single civilian has been killed in Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh from police firing in law & order situations,” the former MP said.

“Normalcy has been restored but restriction imposed on political activities considering the present situation,” the 4th times former MP said. Panda also highlighted injustice meted out to Kashmir pundits over the years.

“Schools, Colleges, shops, business establishments, all are running very smoothly but the allegations mounted by others were fabricated and uncalled for,” Panda argued.

Apart from senior BJP leader Panda, senior Congress leader Salman Khursheed, Pavan Varma, BJD MP Pinaki Misra, diplomat Kanwal Sibal, and academic Amitabh Mattoo also attended the discussion.
