SAMBALPUR:Dola Purnima is a celebration of spiritual victory. A unique identity of Odia culture and unity. This divine union of Lord Krishna and Mother Radha sends a message that love and devotion are the best assets of life. Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said this while participating in the historic ‘Dola Yatra Centenary Festival’ organized at Dhaurapali village of Kishorenagar block in Angul district on Friday.
Shri Pradhan said that my association with Dhaurapali village is very close and long-standing. For me, Dhaurapali is not just a geographical location, but it is a constant cultural source of Odia life. The spiritual atmosphere and memories of this holy land have always inspired me. Completing 100 years of Dhaurapali Dolagyatra is not an ordinary event, but it is a historic achievement. This long journey of a century is a reflection of the deep devotion of our ancestors, the unbreakable unity among the villagers and our rich tradition. While the shrines of many gods and goddesses, including the temple of Shri Radha Krishna, have sanctified this land, this centenary celebration is the best introduction to the high culture and tradition of the village.
On this auspicious occasion, millions of people offered their obeisances at the feet of Shri Pradhan Mahaprabhu Shri Dolagobinda and wished for the all-round development of Dhaurapali village and the happiness and prosperity of all the villagers.
