BHUBANESWAR: The Directorate of Odisha Parivar will develop a dedicate Portal titled “Paribar-the portal for Pravasi Odias-Connecting the roots”. The Advisory Council will be headed by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Executive Committee will be headed by the Chief Secretary PK Jena with Members from various Departments of the State Government.
This Directorate of Odisha Parivar will be under the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture to have better connect with Pravasi Odias within the country and across the world.
Chief Minister chaired the Cabinet meeting in virtual mode from Japan. Ministers attended the meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar and from other districts in Virtual mode.
Minister, Food, Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Cooperation, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Chief Secretary PK Jena briefed the Press about the decision taken in the meeting, where Satyabrata Sahu, ACS, Revenue, OLLC, Forest, Environment & Climate Change was also present.
The Directorate will enlist Odia Associations in different parts of India and in foreign countries. It will enlist Shree Jagannath Temples located in different parts of India and other parts of the world.
