BHUBANESWAR: OSD to Chief Secretary, Dilip Routrai(IAS , SCS-2011) was on Saturday appointed as Director, Odia Language and Culture along with Routray also appointed as Director, Odisha Paribar. The post of Director, Odia Language, Literature, and Culture is declared equivalent in status of responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
Srikanta Prusty appointed Special secretary Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department. Prusty was earlier, Special Secretary with Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Department
Odisha Government also on Saturday shifted VV Yadav as Chief Administrator of Puri’s Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration and posted Ranjan Kumar Das, IAS (SCS-2007) in his place.
Ahead of Rath Yatra, Das’s appointment bears significance.
Das was special secretary in Odia Language & Culture department with additional charge of Director, Odia Language, Literature, and Culture. The post of Chief Administrator, SJTA is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Special Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
The additional appointment of VV Yadav as Chief Administrator SJTA shall stand terminated from the date Ranjan Kumar Das takes over, a notification of General Administration and Public Grievances Department said.
