DIG Eastern Range Dr Satyajit Naik in Action: Police Installed CCTV Cameras in sensitive areas along the route of Puja Immersion in Bhadrak, conducts Joint Flag March in Balasore

BALASORE/BHADRAK :  Balasore Headquarters’ Eastern Police Range DIG Dr Satyajit Naik, has informed that in order to enhance security and maintain law and order in Bhadrak town, the district administration has initiated the installation of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in sensitive areas along the route of Ganesh puja immersion.

DIG informed that   ⁠17 CCTV cameras installed in strategic locations to coverage of vital public spaces, markets, and communally sensitive areas and enhanced surveillance to prevent law and order and investigate crimes. He added that it will improved public safety and confidence.

DIG clarified that the objective of installing CCTV cameras aims to deter criminal activities, facilitate swift investigation and justice and ensure communal harmony and peace , also to ⁠provide a safe environment for citizens.

“We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of Bhadrak town. The CCTV installation is a significant step towards creating a secure and harmonious environment for all.” DIG Dr Naik said.

In Balasore,  DIG Dr Naik informed that to ensure peaceful celebrations of the upcoming Durga Puja and maintain law and order situation, a flag march was conducted in Balasore town area today. The march was led by 2 companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and 3 platoons of state police force.

The objective of this exercise is to instill confidence among the citizens and prevent any untoward incidents during the festive season. The joint forces marched through sensitive areas of the town, demonstrating their preparedness to tackle any potential threats.
